The "Journey” Quilt Filming is a Wrap!

This November, a very special quilt made its voyage from one of many American schools (Buzz Aldrin Middle School in Montclair, NJ) to a very special child at the Leamogetswe Safety Home in South Africa. We filmed the entire story of the “journey” quilt – from the students making the art squares to the quilters sewing them in place to the trip over to South Africa to the moment we wrapped the child in her new quilt.

It is all part of a film we will be creating to show the mission of the Love Quilt Project. Now that the filming is a wrap, we will begin editing all the amazing footage of this special journey. Keep an eye out on our website and social media in the next couple of months for the film.
