Cecilia Buss | Quilt Recruiter

Cecilia Buss has been coordinating quilters in the Pacific Northwest for The Love Quilt Project since 2016. She is a member of the Seattle Symphony where she has worked in the first violin section for over 30 years. In addition to the symphony, Cecilia runs a violin teaching studio from her home and is a violin clinician at several area High Schools.

Cecilia had the opportunity to deliver Love Quilts in South Africa during the summer of 2014. It was because of that powerful experience of seeing first hand the impact these quilts have on children’s lives that she decided to get involved with the project.

Cecilia resides in Newcastle, Washington with her husband, Gerry. They have two grown children, Erik and Renee. Cecilia is looking forward to returning to South Africa in the summer of 2020 to assist with quilt deliveries.
